Preservation
Through Precision.
I didn’t start Chaxous Media Lab to just “digitize files.” I started it because I realized that in our rush toward the digital future, we’ve left our most important histories on decaying plastic and magnetic tape.
I’m Harrison, an Escondido native and a lifelong student of technology. My background isn’t in retail or corporate management—it’s in the hardware itself. As a PC builder and home server administrator, I’ve spent my life obsessing over data integrity and system endurance.
When you bring your tapes, photos, or 3D projects to Chaxous, you’re not handing them to a clerk. You’re handing them to the person who built the workstation, configured the scanners, and maintains the archival servers. I treat every family tape or custom prototype with the technical rigor of a server admin.
This isn’t a hobby—it’s a Media Lab dedicated to making the temporary permanent.
